November 21st, 2008

Timbo
Timbaland is going to be executive producing the movie “Vinyl,” teaming with Duly Noted Inc. to produce the film. The movie was written by Richard Zelniker and will be directed by him as well while Effie T. Brown of Duly Noted Inc., Timbaland’s wife and Marcus Spence will be producing it.

The movie “Vinyl” will be a storyline about five women who will face challenges and relationships with their rockstar boyfriends that could potentially be life changing. Brown being on board is a relatively new experience for her as well, only having produced two independent Sundance films, including one with Ugly Betty star America Ferrera. Production on the movie will begin in April.

Kanye Seeks Paparazzi Law

November 16th, 2008

In a message on his blog, West said photographers shouldn’t be allowed to sell a picture of him without permission.

“Right now the paps are above the law and the people they shoot are below it,” he wrote.

His comments come just days after the rapper was arrested following an alleged altercation involving a paparazzo in Newcastle.
